Candidates must be proficient in Procore.
We are in the process of implementing Procore as a complete system for estimating, cost controls, contract administration, project management, etc.
Currently we have three projects that are being used as sample projects in the system.
Our account codes are uploaded, budgets have been entered, some commitments have been entered but not all so management does not have the ability to see its reporting capability, vendors are entered along with their insurance, etc.
We have not uploaded our form contracts yet to see how the contracts will look when downloaded and printed.
We need the individual to work with one of the principals in the completion of the systems implementation.
Titan believes that the individual best to do this is a cost engineer.
The candidate will need to understand the cost codes, the assignment of those line items to rack ups/buy outs, the conversion to the appropriate contracts, and the administration of the contract at a minimum.
A complete understanding of the planning, budgeting, project management, and construction is necessary.
The position is not a temporary one as we see this candidate continuing to work with an expanded Estimating and Cost Control group.
This group has been expanding its role in the company and will continue to through the utilization of Procore in the estimating, buy-out and contract administration.
The Project Management team will work in the final buyouts on projects to ensure complete scopes of work but the estimating and cost controls team will drive the commitments.
Requirements:
As Titan's work involves both new construction and renovation projects, we are looking for candidates experienced in the planning, construction, and scheduling of new mid-rise residential buildings (rentals and condominiums), new commercial buildings (primarily high-end retail), renovation/conversion of commercial buildings (old industrial or mill building into office, retail, and residential) and tenant improvements (office and retail spaces).
Other requirements include:
Expertise in Procore a must 4 Year degree or equivalent in engineering or architecture Knowledge of industry standard construction means and methods a must Software Implementation a must TITAN REALTY & CONSTRUCTION LLC is a general contractor and construction manager catering to private owner and developers of commercial and luxury residential properties.
Our success is attributable in large measure to our unique approach to development as if we were the owner and developer of the projects.
